Figures of Speech in To Kill A Mockingbird

We use figures of speech all of the time (there's a hyperbole right there) when we speak! Practice recognizing similes, metaphors, personification, hyperboles, and irony when you hear it. Remember, knowing literary elements such as these will help you when taking the Regents exam next year!
