The Hobbit

They find the hobbit sitting by his hole.
When dwarves arrive, he has something to fear.
The dwarves present to him their mighty goal.
The hobbit will be gone for but a year.
Imprisoned in the Goblin's mountain cave,
The hobbit riddles his way to a prize.
Invisible, his friend's lives' he will save.
The ring gives Bilbo a perfect disguise.
Through thick and through thin, travel on they must,
The Lonely Mountain waiting at the end.
Elves and creatures they will decide to trust.
But loyalties may change- who is your friend?
The Battle of Five Armies was foretold.
But who will end up winning all the gold?

In this long epic written by Homer
A man is forced to leave his first born son
This man Odysseus was a fighter
Returning home long after the war was done

His wife Penelope remained faithful
And his son believed he would return home
His wife’s suitors did many things disgraceful
These things can be read in Homer’s poem

Odysseus encountered many things
Aggressive creatures and some very bad luck
Dodging obstacles that the journey brings
Away from the gods Odysseus snuck

In the end Odysseus will succeed
After the great fighter had long journeyed

Prologue of The Hunger Games

In the future, Panem is divided.
There used to be peace and prosperity,
but the uprising left them misguided,
people are in irregularity.
The Dark Days are never to be replayed,
It's already hard enough to survive.
Through the chaos, the Hunger Games were made,
there is one rule in the games; stay alive.
Twenty-four tributes are readily prepped,
and are tended to at the Capitol.
Alliances are made, but rarely kept,
and many the deaths are quite radical.
The last tribute left standing wins the game,
crowned the victor and left to live in fame.

Prologue to "Carry Your Own Skis"
Before modern equiptment and warm clothes; You would fly down the hill freezing and wet; Older and talented show how it goes; I learned a lesson so I'll never fret.

Carry your own skis my mom said to me; Cousins, brothers, and sisters came along; You must handle it to enjoy skiing glee; From the lodge, all excitement is forgone.

This moral is a model for living;
Applied into many parts of my life; Using this life style is quite giving; Lessons like this keep me free of a strife.

Carry your own skis led me to believe; Life like this makes it easy to relieve.

Two idiots that hate each other lots

Each dumb man was carrying a big gun

Both in the woods they were hearing some shots

We both can agree they're both haviing fun

They saw each other and wanted to kill

And the started talking and were both cool

They both had a cousin whose name is Bill

Killing each other would be just too cruel

Then a bunch of wolves saw them and they came

Very good friends they now had becometh

Their rivalry has gained a lot of fame

Coyotes were what the wolves had been with

Two men died before they were known as friends

I guess the rivalry will never end

Think of a time of the future, not past
Hunger, starvation and games have come
The human race just barely does last
The fight to the death controls all, not some

It starts with The Reaping and ends with death
Only one can survive, forget all the rest
Twenty-four people fight till their last breath
A girl, Katniss Everdeen tries her best

Before the games Peeta declares his love
The two work together to win it all
They both do survive by some grace above
Back home, in love Katniss does not fall

The story's not over, there's more to it
A surprise ending happens in a bit.

Phineas and Ferb Prologue

Phineas and Ferb are on vacation

One hundred and four days for their summer

Brothers they are, that is their relation

Doing fun things, they don't want a bummer

Things like climbing on the Eiffel Tower

Discovering things that can not exist

They're scientists, building is their power

Candace busts them, number one on her list

With their friends, they have the best vacation

Phineas is loud and outgoing
All kids would join the fun from the nation

Ferb does the planning, he can also sing

They have a lot to do before the fall

But over summer, they invent it all

Sonnet for- The Key to Rondo

A hundred year old special music box

With a magic world trapped inside of it

With magical people sly like a fox

All of these people could die with one hit

Turn the key three times, never any more

Or be ready to step into the box

A fourth turn opens the magical door

To the world with people sly like a fox

There is a beautiful blue queen inside

Who steals a girls dog from beyond the box

She turned the key and the queen came outside

And took the dog, because she's sly like a fox

They go on an amazing journey

And ould possible come out on a gurney.

V for Vendetta Prolouge

A man of freedom hides behind his mask,

Because of his beliefs he faced internment,

Threatened with firing squad and poison gas,

He volunteered to be an experiment,

Hate and desire course through his veins,

Pain and suffering that nothing can soothe,

He grows a rose for all on his list of names,

Man can be destroyed, but ideas are bulletproof,

The Government hunts for him like hawks,

He took a young girl, Evey, under his wing,

He dons the mask of the "traitor" Guy Fawkes,

Destroying Parliment and number 10 Downing,

Freedom ushered in by Anarchy,

Brought by the king of the twentieth century

Martin Luther King Junior had a dream.
Besides color, kids could be together.
Everybody could be on the same team.
No judgement is what he asked forever.

He tried very hard to only succeed.
People told him that he was very wrong.
He worked hard and did nothing but believe.
He was always determined to stay strong.

He wished that one day blacks and whites could join.
Martin Luther King Junior wanted peace.
His beliefs were worth more than just a coin.
We're now in unison to say the least.

Martin Luther King Junior got his wish.
He did what he wanted to accomplish.

A Prologue to the Odyssey

In ancient Greece there's a tale of a man

He went through many troubles and hardships

The man came up with a very good plan

The plan was to travel by land and ship

To a far place he used to call his home

He was on a long journey to return

The man was gone at war far from his home

On the way home that man made many wrong turns

But somehow he always escaped traps

The man wanted to see his wife and son

He found his way back home without any maps

He made it home and his journey was done

When he got home everything was the same

Odysseus was the brave hero's name

Commensensical and fierce when need be,

And who thirteen militant dwarves disown,

Grand and mythical creatures you will see.

With a wise old wizard leading the way,

From a marauding dragon with foul play,

Finding several challenges foretold.

Courage awakening strength from inside,

An understanding of emotions met,

Treasures and sacrifices coincide,

An escapade unable to forget!

A tale of two men, who once were good friends

One vowed revenge for the grief he once had

They encounter and try to make amends

But one had plans to make the other sad.

Deep down into the catacombs they go

Walking and roaming for hours on end

To get the cask of amontillado

One man thinking he was the others friend.

Finally, they have found what they needed

Then a twist in the story is now here

"Please, please let me go," the man now pleaded

A time of yelling was all they could hear.

No sympathy from the man was coming

No sound from the room had the man running.

And a friend named Pattrick who's crazy but doesn't care

But blowing bubbles is what he does best
His neighbor wants him gone, but can only wish
And everychance, he'll be making a mess

He loves his job at the Krusty Krab
He also like to practice karati
In his free time he likes playing in sand
And once in a while he'll have a party

He's a funn loving sponge who's kind to all

Prologue to The Hobbit

On a mountain tall filled with treasure deep
An ancient home of dwarven people old
A powerful old dragon now does creep
Among the dwarven coffers filled with gold.

Those that escaped the dragon Smaug's anger
Found the good town of Dale, it's humans dead
And journeyed through lands riddled with danger
Cursing Smaug, who brought chaos in his stead.

The dwarves vowed to reclaim their lost treasure
With the help of a wizard found a friend
So a hobbit was placed under pressure
To help the dwarves from his hole in Bag-End

The party left with a hobbit in tow
Minds set on a dragon to overthrow

Phineas and Ferb are on vacation,

Although it's not a real celebration,

the number of people that join are tons.

Everyday something new gets accomplished,

with the hardwork and patients the boys give.

But in the end always gets demolished,

that's why everyone just has to forgive.

The activities are never the same,

ranging from haunted houses to beaches.

Only goof balls would think these would be lame.

Ferb is quite shy so he barely preaches.

The two boys never get into trouble,

which makes their fun always seem to double!

In this story, we meet Bilbo Baggins
He is a hobbit who lives all alone
This was a time of goblins and dragons
When all things around were of wood or stone

Bilbo was happy; he was doing great
But then Gandalf came and brought the dwarves too
They took over his home and changed his fate
Starting an adventure without a clue

They marched towards a mountain searching for gold
Coming across perils along the way
Many other stories are to be told
More than can ever be told in a day

So join Bilbo on his amazing quest
With its twists and turns, will he pass the test?

“Prologue to The Talk”

Close acquaintances not alike at all

They both thought they were horrible looking

One was bigger, one small, one short, one tall

They were in the awkward stage of living

Had a neighbor who was a young woman

They thought she was very good looking

Crept on her daily like a stalking man

During the summer of outdoor cooking

The boys didn’t shower that often

Which made them smell very disgusting

Added to their looks that didn’t soften

Eventually they started rusting

Knew they could never get her that summer

Because they were so ugly, that’s a bummer!

Prologue to: "The Necklace," by Guy de Maupassant

A poor young couple, a husband and wife,
She fills her long days with sighs and daydreams,
Dreams of riches and an elegant life,
She finds that her life is better than it seems.

Generous invite brought home by her dear,
Her heart filled with despair,
The pretty young wife's eyes filled with her tears,
At the thought of having no gown to wear.

All said she was to be belle of the ball,
She begged a necklace, and a gown she bought,
And so she danced until her husband's call,
But the neckace gone, they became distraught.

The necklace borrowed from a dear old friend,

The Hobbit Prologue

Once long ago, there lived a young hobbit

Who lived on the Shire with more of his kind.

Thirteen dwarves and a wizard needed his help

To burgle some things they needed to find.

Their adventures led them through forest green

With elves aplenty and huge spiders too;

And mountains where greedy dragons reside

To get back their gold a war would ensue.

The dragon named Smaug who guards the treasure

Often he sleeps, though not easily slain;

This dragon is a truly sly creature;

Because of this, he is not easy prey.

With gold, retrieval is often efficient;

Don't forget all the risk that comes with it.

The Hunger Games book 1 prologue

A fierce competition to bestow fear

Twenty four children in a deadly fight

This horrible match begins every year

Only one can triumph to bestow their might

Televised to all of the twelve places

The cannons will bellow when someone dies

In the sky are shown the victims faces

Catniss stares at her new friend's lifeless eyes

With silver parachutes fill with a gift

As patrons are watching this free-for-all

The tide of the battle really does shift

The audience really does have a ball

As ties are cut off with their families kin

Let the Hunger Games finally BEGIN!
